General Purpose A Police Officer is responsible for responding to calls for service and assistance requests; they are entrusted with safeguarding our community. Response may be on foot or by driving from place to place in a squad car. Police Officers proactively and reactively enforce Federal, State of Colorado, and Town of Granby (local) laws by making physical arrests and issuing summons to violators.
