Description JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Optical Mechanical Assembler 2nd Shift Reports To: Production Cell Manager Supervises: none This position is base rate plus 10% for second shift JOB SUMMARY Performs various functions associated with fabrication of optical components such as profiling, cutting, milling, grinding, beveling, blocking, polishing, edging, cleaning and testing using appropriate machines and equipment. Uses a variety of metrology and inspection tools to test and inspect optical components for accuracy and quality. Required to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.…
