What You Can Expect Working in the Fitter/Welder Position The Skilled Welder II is responsible for the fabrication, weld, and final installation of steel components in the production of blast-resistant, modular buildings and other industrial buildings. In this role, you will be required to work with cranes, jigs, torches, plasma, hand tools and welding machines on a continual basis and to meet third-party inspection requirements under AWS, ABS and DNV compliance standards.
