The Role: The Surgical Technologist participates in the care of the surgical patient in the operating room under the direction of the registered nurse. The trained technologist will perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to, preparation of the OR suite, handling of surgical instruments/supplies and equipment needed during the surgical procedure.
