MRD is seeking a full-time Blast Technician that will be based in Boise, Idaho. The main responsibility of a Blast Technician consists of boretraking and flying a drone to develop 3D models, that will be used for drilling and blasting purposes. Using GPS equipment, The Blast Technician will conduct surveys to determine rock elevation. The Blast Technician will train with a senior Blast Technician and will learn how to survey existing ground/bench elevations, establish drill patterns, calculate cut depths, bench heights, and floor elevations.
