Oertel Metal Works is looking for a reliable, safety-minded Forklift Operator for 3rd shift at our Davenport, Iowa location. On this shift you’ll work on your own to keep production moving overnight. Using a fork truck, you’ll deliver raw materials to operators in Paint and on the Shop Floor, working with the 3rd shift supervisor. You’ll also stage the next day’s deliveries using our GSS system, load and secure outbound loads with straps and covers, and hand off clearly to 1st shift so the day starts smoothly.
